Membership of the Society is £10 per year for individuals, £15 for two members at the same address. This brings free access to eight speaker meetings; one copy of the annual Journal; a regular e-newsletter; and invitations to other Society events.
Overseas membership is available for £5 per year to people resident outside the UK; the same price applies to individuals or two people residing at the same address. Overseas membership brings all the benefits listed above except for the printed copy of the annual journal, which is instead provided in electronic format.
The membership year runs from 1 August to 31 July; new memberships starting after 1 May 2020 will cover the whole 2020/2021 season. The next issue of the society’s Journal will be published around May 2021; earlier Journals can be purchased here.
The Society is governed by a simple constitution, and all members are most welcome to take part in its affairs. An amended constitution was adopted at the Annual General Meeting on 31 October 2011.
